Types of driver medicals we can provide:
Taxi Drivers
The government recommends that a taxi driver must meet the same standards as those of bus and lorry drivers.
Construction Workers
Many companies conduct annual medicals along with drug and alcohol testing. We can come to your site to conduct these medicals to minimise any disruption to your workforce.
Motor Home
A D4 medical is required to obtain a C1 license in order to drive a motorhome. If you passed your driving test before 1997 you will automatically have a C1 license until the age of 70. It will then need to be renewed every 3 years.
Student Paramedics
Student paramedics require a D4 medical to obtain a provisional C1 license. This is often done in the last year of undergraduate training.
HGV & PCV
HGV & PCV drivers require D4 Driver medicals throughout their career. On application, every 5 years on turning 45 years old, and then annually after 65.
