Rhys brings over 15 years of extensive business development experience to the table. Serving as the business manager at Connexus Health, he oversees all operations, maintaining a commitment to professionalism. Rhys's tenure in business development has instilled in him the principle of prioritising quality over quantity. Rhys and his colleagues strive to consistently meet high standards in all aspects, from promptly responding to emails and phone calls to delivering top-notch services for our valued clients.

Kimberley has over 14 years of administration experience and worked for the Crown Prosecution Service for 8 years. She then decided it was time for a change and joined Connexus Medical Appointments.

Kimberley is excited to be a part of the team at Connexus Health & Rehabilitation.

Rebecca, serving as the Occupational Health administrator, plays a pivotal role in handling appointment bookings, providing excellent customer service, and managing accounts. With a background in working for a solicitor firm, she has accumulated valuable experience in administration and customer care over the years. Eager to broaden her skill set and expand her understanding of the occupational health industry, Rebecca is enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and continuing her professional development within the field.

David is the Occupational Health Manager at our Hemel Hempstead clinic. David graduated in nursing from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2008. His diverse nursing journey has spanned various specialities, including acute care, intensive care, A&E, and dialysis. In 2011, he relocated to the UK to pursue advanced career opportunities, contributing his skills to intensive care and dialysis settings. In 2017, David transitioned to the occupational health sector, where he made significant contributions to major public national construction projects such as the Tideway Project, Multiplex, HS2, Battersea Power Station, and National Grid. Starting as an occupational health nurse and progressing to the role of nurse manager, he demonstrated leadership and expertise. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, David pursued further education, successfully completing his MSC in Occupational Health, alongside additional courses in auditing and clinical services management.

Karen serves as the Occupational Health Administrator at our Hemel Hempstead Clinic, extending a warm welcome with her friendly smile and can-do attitude as the first point of contact. Boasting extensive experience in administrative, reception, and secretarial roles accumulated over many years, Karen brings a wealth of organisational expertise to her role.

Outside of work, she has a fondness for pushing her boundaries and embracing new activities. Karen has undertaken a daring 12,000ft charity parachute jump. Additionally, during her children's younger years, she took on the responsibility of running her own Beaver Scouting Group, showcasing her commitment to community involvement and leadership.

Sara has previously worked in customer service and has 8 years of administration and reception experience.

Sara will probably be one of the first faces you see at the clinic. She has a genuine interest in patient’s welfare and will go out of her way to make sure all patients feel welcome.

Sara is a cheerful, polite and friendly individual and enjoys working as part of an enthusiastic team at Connexus Health and Rehabilitation.

Dr Kevin Uzoma is an Occupational Physician and a practising Family Physician (GP). He graduated from the University of Manchester in 2016 with MSc-distinction in Occupational Medicine. He also has a diploma in Occupational Medicine from the FOM (Faculty of Occupational Medicine), as well as other qualifications in this field.

Catherine, a Registered Nurse with an impressive 25-year career, has dedicated the last 9 years to specialising in Occupational Health management. In addition to overseeing the Occupational Health clinical team, she actively engages in the full spectrum of Occupational Health responsibilities, including case management, health surveillance (including HAVS Tier 3 assessments), vaccinations, DSE assessments, drug & alcohol screening, and industry-specific medical examinations. Catherine diligently renews her NMC registration annually, staying abreast of the latest developments in clinical practice and HSE legislation. Currently, she is pursuing a Diploma in Occupational Health Practice to further enhance her expertise in the field.

With an extensive 22-year career in Occupational Health, Rachel has demonstrated her expertise, initially serving as a Deputy Laboratory Manager and later transitioning to the role of an Occupational Health Technician. Joining Connexus in May 2022, she seamlessly transferred her wealth of experience and knowledge, quickly establishing herself as a highly valued team member.

Rachel is renowned for her exceptional teamwork, always proving to be a collaborative and approachable colleague. Her friendly demeanour and prioritisation of client and patient needs underscore her commitment to providing excellent service within the team and ensuring the well-being of those she serves.
