    Bronze Package

Body measurements and body mass index (BMI)

The bedrock of any health assessment, your body measurements combined with body mass index can help determine if you are at risk of weight-related health issues.

Blood pressure, heart rate and rhythm

A reading of your blood pressure alongside heart rate and rhythm will allow the medical team to assess the effectiveness of your cardiovascular system and can detect potential problems.

Understanding what’s normal for you or if your blood pressure is too low (hypotension), too high (hypertension) or you have irregular and abnormal heart rate is important to assess the need for further medical checks or treatment.

    Urine testing and analysis

This is a straightforward urine dipstick test that can indicate potential problems relating to:

    Electrocardiogram (ECG) (12 lead)

    • Arrhythmias
    • Coronary heart disease
    • Risk of heart attack
    • Cardiomyopathy
Quick cholesterol and blood sugar (glucose) test

Finger prick tests for both sugar and cholesterol will indicate if further tests are required.

    Platinum Package

Your employee can benefit from the full range of assessments in our Gold package including a comprehensive range of blood testing in addition to either a full lung function test or audiometry assessment (hearing test).

    Spirometry (lung function test)

A spirometry test is a well-established pulmonary function (breathing) test. It measures the amount of air you can breathe in and out and how quickly and effectively this happens.

During the spirometry, you will be asked to breathe into a tube while receiving specific guidance from one of our trained medical professionals.

The results can be used to assess pulmonary function and detect chronic lung conditions, such as:

    • Asthma
    • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

If your results show signs of either an obstructive or restrictive airways disease you can share these with your medical provider to determine any necessary treatment.

    Audiometry (hearing test)

An audiometry test evaluates your ability to hear sounds of varying intensity, pitch, and frequency and assesses any hearing loss resulting from a variety of factors such as ageing, chronic ear infections, injury to the ear or exposure to loud noise.

The test involves listening and responding to a series of sounds played through headphones within a specialised, soundproof booth. You will be guided through the assessment, which usually takes around 15 minutes, by a trained medical professional.

A full printout of the results will give key insight into your hearing and help inform the need for a specialist referral.
